November 26, 2018 Week # 70 Cuenca Spain Madrid Spain Mission

Love you so much! Sorry I don't

t have time to write. Thanks for the update! Have a great week!
This week was killer.

To tell the truth I don't have much time. We spent all day playing soccer, football, and basketball. And we ate a fat thanksgiving lunch with the Zone. Couldn't ask for a better day.

Our area is doing good, friends are progressing well! Florín and Gabi are on track for the 15th so we are super excited. We also had a mini thanksgiving Thursday. Um and yeah the week flew by.

Something that has been on my mind this week has been to "bridle all (our) passions". Me and the comp we talked about passions being any strong feeling that we have. So practically that means controlling all of our strong feelings, now here comes the twist. Most of the time we talk about that in reference to sexual desires or passions, but what about righteous desires or passions? How about then? How zealous should we be in our pursuit of righteousness and obedience? Well, it comes down to whether or not we can feel love. We bridle all our passions so that we are full of love like it teaches to us in Alma. So if your desires keep you from feeling love...... your doing it wrong. Remember that repentance is a happy progress and it the sin that causes the feelings we don't like. So repent and get better, and I promise you'll see blessings!

Love you guys have a good week! Remember to read your scriptures, say your prayers, bridle your passions, be humble, be obedient, find a way to serve someone as we start #lighttheworld, and NEVER GET UP!
