March 26, 2018 Week #35 "Putting it down " Algeciras , Spain Malaga Mission
What's up what's up its your favorite door to door salesman out here doing the Lords work! (If you never saw the Snapchat series I'm sorry you missed out)
This week was killer, we straight grinded. We've started a lot of new things lately and there are about to be some changes, were just laying that solid foundation right now. This week we taught a little, our investigator Jenny is practically a member we're just waiting till the week after General Conference to have the baptism. Our boy Juan is doing good, after his contact with missionaries in 92 he hasn't had much more but little by little were watching the spirit change his heart and pique his interest. If Anyone knows of some guy with the last name of Sampson thats from Alpine and is in his 40s, give him my numb.... uh email. Haha it would be cool to reconnect him and Juan after 25 years. Everyone is still pretty basic and we've started to work with new people so more updates coming soon!
This week I was talking with a less active we are working with, and found out that the reason she's so good at making food is because she went to some sort of baking/cooking school in Bolivia haha. She makes and sells these salteñas (look it up) that are freaking amazing. I told her about my (soon to be world) famous cinnamon rolls hehe and this week im gonna give her a taste of them.
One of the other members here, Isaac works on the ports topping the ships off in Gibralter right next to a exotic car dealer, so besides from showing us some of the largest, most expensive, most ridiculously huge ships in the world he also showed us pictures of the new bugatti Chiron and the new Koeinsegg.
Sunday the branch was packed for the first time, instead of 5 people there, we had 50. 10 of them were Americans on vacation, 25 of them were all family of the old branch President who visited as well haha. It was still an awesome sacrament meeting.
This week as well we started working in the local soup kitchen which has been awesome. We went by on Friday and prepped, cleaned, washed and listen to the group of old friends that runs it chatter and crack jokes. All of them are awesome people.
This week as we approach General conference I hope that we sincerely take the time to listen to the Prophet and his apostles, and APPLY THEIR COUNCIL. Please for your own sake, make an effort to listen or watch the Sunday sessions minimum, and make an effort to view the other sessions as well. I PROMISE YOU, IF YOU WILL -THIS WEEK- WRITE DOWN A QUESTION YOU NEED AN ANSWER FOR, IT WILL BE ANSWERED AS YOU LISTEN TO CONFERENCE. Now don't forget the fine print here, the answer will not always come in direct words from someone. Sometimes it will sometimes it won't, but as thoughts to the mind and feelings to the heart. I love all y'all have a good week. Be humble, be thankful, and say your prayers.

Here's us chowing on that cheat day grind
The entrance from the Atlantic to Mediterranean Africa on the left
And Gib with the 100 ton gun up top
