July 30 2018 "Another semi-normal week" Week #53 HUMP DAY Week Malaga Spain MIssion

Well another week has passed. It was great. We did a lot of things. We talked with a lot of people. And we celebrated some birthdays.

People for the most part have stayed the same except for two really big things happened. First, Friday we had a Birthday party for Elmer, he's a reference we received like 6 months ago that is like ready to be baptized. He's been progressing pretty slowly because he's interested one day and not the next. Friday his member sister was there from Switzerland, and we talked about a few gospel topics one being the temple, as they had just been in Madrid and his sister had done a session. We talked about different things but touched on what you had to had to go in, a recommendation. Then all of kids were there as well and were all pretty close in age and we talked about a ton of things but developed a really good relationship with them! I made some cookies and Elmer straight fell in love with them haha he was freaking out making everyone try them lol. Then after cake and such he said the prayer before we left! It was awesome!

Then another miracle, Patricia, the member with the store, the one we've worked with forever, she finally came to church! After six freaking months! Power of service, love and patience! Super cool.

We also made some more cinnamon rolls this week, I taught a member how to make them. We decided to switch things up and threw some kit kats and snickers in a few haha.

Wednesday we balled out with the dudes and blessings are real, God has preserved my somewhat of a vertical so I'm still able to jump haha.

Saturday afternoon we went out to Fernandos (member) work to celebrate his Bday with him and we ate cookies and ice cream and then busted it over to dominos to celebrate Elder Childers Bday. Playing soccer that night wasn't too fun lol.

Mosiah 5

2 And they all cried with one voice, saying: Yea, we believe all the words which thou hast spoken unto us; and also, we know of their surety and truth, because of the Spirit of the Lord Omnipotent, which has wrought a mighty change in us, or in our hearts, that we have no more disposition to do evil, but to do good continually.

First they had to listen to the prophets words, before they had a might change of heart. We have to do the same! To Listen and apply their teachings are the most sure way we can begin to change and keep changing.

I love you all and hope you have a good week. Don't forget to say your prayers, read your scriptures, count your blessings, be humble, and listen to the prophets words!
