The Final Countdown, BBQ, and Zone Conference June 18 2018 , Malaga Spain Mission Week #47

Well folks, another week closer to the new mission, and now only a week remains. This week flew by with a lot of less active work and traveling it went by in a blur.

Monday we played volleyball, and again today were out here putting it down (and all of you thought I was going to BYU for football hehe). Tuesday morning we had interviews with President Andersen and we had an awesome conversation about miracles. He said that "miracles are a way for God to bless his sons and daughters" and it's exactly that. God knows what we need, and he will provide it, if he knows that we will do better without it, maybe he will withhold it. Our part is continue following in faith, humility, and trust in him! After that we grinded and had a super awesome lesson with Jenny our recent convert. Wednesday we worked the soup kitchen because we would be at zone conference Friday, and then went and worked in La Linea. Thursday we did weekly planning, prepped our stuff and caught a bus to Seville. We got there to an apartment whose area was closing, so it was just us. They had a little charcoal grill, and we decided to go grab some meat hehe. Due to my bottle of aftershave, a borrowed lighter, and some rusty eagle scout skills, we got that puppy lit up and had a grand old time haha. Friday we had The last zone conference of the Spain Malaga mission. It was pretty sad but we still learned a ton, and felt the spirit. We then embarked for Algeciras once again, this time with a box of materials that weighed about 100 pounds lol. We got on the bus and turns out I might be growing still because I legitimately couldn't sit down in my seat, it was too small lol. Then Saturday we didn't have anyone come to soccer so we did some organizing, then contacted. That night we went to La Linea and had a super good family night with Carmen, and another less active member Joe. It was awesome and we saw a ton of progression in everyone. Sunday church was great, and we studied, the church being farther away really sucks up a lot of time.

It's hard to describe what's happening with people because it's a lot of basics, and all very simple. So no big commitments but building the foundation for more activity in the church, and getting people ready for the temple.

Shout out to all the father's out there. I hope yiu all had a great day and I hope you all realize your divine roll. John 5:19 "The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." In the day of judgement, we, especially father's, will be held accountable for our examples.

I love all of you and hope you all have a good week, say your prayers, read your scriptures, be humble, be obedient, and take a look at your example!
