T Minus 4 weeks till mission change, and things just keep speeding up. This week was super good, a lot of learning, a lot of teaching, and a mini Venice if you will.

This week still not a whole lot of action with new people, down south here people are pretty stubborn with their ideas but there are a few that are open to listen. We have a new investigator Angel who's an older man who's life has practically fallen apart, but is trying to put it back together which is awesome to see. Especially since he's doing it in the right way. With our Ladies from La Linea, Maria and Dolores, there still struggling kicking some bad habits but we will get there! Still working a ton with less actives, or at least trying too haha but weve seen some miracles just randomly running into people which has been super cool! Really good news is that our new chapel here in Algeciras will finally be opening it's doors for the first time in two weeks! After a year of waiting (since it's been completed) we will be able to hold meetings there.

Plus Friday trying to figure out travel for Saturday we met a dude from SLC who served here a couple years ago which was cool.

Saturday I had a really eye opening experience. First off we went up to Sotogrande, a pretty wealthy area up the coast from La Linea. This is the little Venice I was talking about, i didn't take any pics because I really wasn't trying to draw too much attention the the two dudes in white shirts walking down these roads winding through private communities haha but look it up on Google maps it's sweet. We went out there to eat lunch with a family (she's from Mexico) and ate some awesome tacos! Reminded me of Utah lol. Nah but really they were great  and then we shared a message and left. Travel getting out there had been kind of a mess, and so we were a little worried on how we were going to get back. While we were walking to the bus stop i had a feeling that if we made it there by 5 we would be okay. So we did. Upon arrival and a quick look of the schedule it showed that a bus had left a town nearby at 4:30, our maps told us it took 15 minutes to drive from where the bus leaves to where we were. The next bus didn't leave for a couple more hours. That was a little discouraging but I had had the feeling that we would be okay if we arrived at 5 and so I stayed true to that. Another thought came to my mind, that the bus should be there, at the latest, at 5:15. After, I swear, 13 of the longest minutes of my life i gave up the hope and told my companion that it had probably already passed. As we sat there discussing what we were going to do, what do ya know, at 5:16 that bus pulled in. I hope that my faith in the Lord never runs short by 3 minutes every again, I hope and pray that every one of you can have the faith to endure and keep going through your situation or your problems for just a few moments more because I promise that the Lord will be there to help you. Have patience, put your faith in him, keep your head up, and just keep going!

Mosiah 24
13 And it came to pass that the voice of the Lord came to them in their afflictions, saying: Lift up your heads and be of good comfort, for I know of the covenant which ye have made unto me; and I will covenant with my people and deliver them out of bondage.
14 And I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs, even while you are in bondage; and this will I do that ye may stand as witnesses for me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions.
15 And now it came to pass that the burdens which were laid upon Alma and his brethren were made light; yea, the Lord did strengthen them that they could bear up their burdens with ease, and they did submit cheerfully and with patience to all the will of the Lord.
16 And it came to pass that so great was their faith and their patience that the voice of the Lord came unto them again, saying: Be of good comfort, for on the morrow I will deliver you out of bondage.

The scriptures are real people, read them!

I hope all of you have a great week! Be grateful, be humble, be obedient, say your prayers, read your scriptures! Miracles will follow.
