Intercambios and Riot Gear Week #29 Malaga Spain Mission 2/12/18
Well let me tell you, this week has flown by. Super hard to remember because really nothing big happened.

Monday we had to go to the Doc for Elder Benedict, turns out he didn't break anything but just strained it pretty bad so he's been taking some anti-inflammatory drugs and icing it a little and it's gotten better. Doc has his office on one of the nicest resorts in Europe "La Manga". It's practically just a bunch of rich people who don't speak Spanish lol so he's got a super good gig there making big money, that why he hasn't gone back to the United States.
Then next couple days just regular stuff, Thursday night we had companion exchanges with the Zone Leaders, we went and taught their two investigators who are sisters who got baptized saturday. There have been protests since I got here about the train that divides the city when it comes through. that night when we passed there were close to 12 or 13 police vans a ton of officers with riot gear which was pretty nuts. Then we finished up Friday morning and it was just dandy, always a good opportunity to learn from the vets.
We went and helped our investigator John with his house again and taught him. He will for sure get baptized the 24, too bad I will most likely be leaving the 21. As for that this week is practically my last full week here in Murcia so were gonna go ham.
So it was a great week, but just not a whole lot out of the ordinary. One thing that I read this week while I was studying was Mosiah 2:
23 And now, in the first place, he hath created you, and granted unto you your lives, for which ye are indebted unto him.
24 And secondly, he doth require that ye should do as he hath commanded you; for which if ye do, he doth immediately bless you; and therefore he hath paid you. And ye are still indebted unto him, and are, and will be, forever and ever; therefore, of what have ye to boast?
25 And now I ask, can ye say aught of yourselves? I answer you, Nay. Ye cannot say that ye are even as much as the dust of the earth; yet ye were created of the dust of the earth; but behold, it belongeth to him who created you.
I love verse 25, we in reality are nothing. Created from the dust. We need to always remember that we are always in debt to him, but because he loves us so much he gave us the opportunity to choose. To choose to honor him, or to disrespect him and the gifts that he constantly gives us.
I know were capable of so much more than we think we are, even though we are dust we have great potential.
My boy Elder Tuione wrote a fire weekly this week and I loved it so I'm going to share a part of his:
I have noticed while serving as a full time missionary, that the ''Coolest guys'' I have ever come across are the ones who knew they were different because they were God fearing and NOT crowd pleasing. The ones who knew they were peculiar, because they weren't apart of the worldly crowd. The ones who knew they were strange and weird, because they refused to do things that they knew were wrong, whatever the circumstances were or may be and The ones who knew that it didn't matter if they weren't the Strongest or the Toughest or the Hardest hitter in footy because they knew, that if they were Humble before the Lord and acknowledged their weaknesses, he promised that he will ''make weak things become strong unto them''
Humility is the key. I love all of you I hope you have a good week, stay humble, thank God for every single thing you have and watch your life change.
