Whats up everybody, I don't know how y'all feel but time just keeps speeding up here. This week was amazing again, so many little miracles and blessings, and we are busier than ever.

This week we decided to clean out area book so we just started calling everyone who we didn't know haha, it worked out pretty good. We ended up setting a ton of appointments that kept us extremely busy all week  long. Samuel and Hong-Chun had their baptism interviews so well be having their baptisms this weekend, and hopefully the baptism of Morris as well. Vlad and Adrian we will be changing their dates for one more week out because they're not quite ready yet but are super close!

I have also now been in the mish for 6 months, crazy how fast it's went, but also how long it feels like I've been out here. Transfers come in another 3 weeks as well and I'm not super excited for that, Murcia and the people here really have become my second home.

Other than all that a really basic week, a lot of teaching which was great and a lot of work as always.

Now, to address the title. This past week as I've been using Facebook and thinking on some of the more controversial topics and why they exist. Well I got my answer. Saturday I was reading in Jacob 4, and while reading I was also using the study guide (because I'm reading in Spanish and I want to understand it lol) and while I was studying I came across this in the study guide:

While serving in the Seventy, Elder Dean L. Larsen explained that the Israelites in ancient times “got themselves into great difficulty” because they “placed themselves in serious jeopardy in spiritual things because they were unwilling to accept simple, basic principles of truth. They entertained and intrigued themselves with ‘things that they could not understand’ (Jacob 4:14). They were apparently afflicted with a pseudosophistication and a snobbishness that gave them a false sense of superiority over those who came among them with the Lord’s words of plainness. They went beyond the mark of wisdom and prudence, and obviously failed to stay within the circle of fundamental gospel truths, which provide a basis for faith. They must have reveled in speculative and theoretical matters that obscured for them the fundamental spiritual truths. As they became infatuated by these ‘things that they could not understand,’ their comprehension of and faith in the redeeming role of a true Messiah was lost, and the purpose of life became confused. A study of Israel’s history will confirm Jacob’s allegations” (in Conference Report, Oct. 1987, 11–12; or Ensign, Nov. 1987, 11).

I just want to testify of the simple truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and as stated by Elder Bednar "it's a simple pattern, but not easy to follow". We don't need to over complicate things, or LOOK PAST THE MARK when we are trying to understand the doctrine and reasoning. Keep your testimony founded in faith, prayer, and reading the scriptures. Everyday. Keep It Simple Stupid.

I love all of you and hope you have a great week!
P.s. here's some pics of a nice lambo we saw
