Week #4 : We are now officially over the hump in the MTC

.

This week also went by super fast but a lot happened as well. Starting with Sunday of last week. Elder Randall and I got assigned to be the new zone leaders because the other ones were leaving. We were not expecting it and a little taken aback but we didnt think it would be too bad, until monday night when we didnt go to sleep until midnight lol. In the past two weeks though we have had three apostles come and speak to us which has been so cool, even if all Elder Ballard talked about was not flirting hahaha. Like i mentioned previously, monday was an extremely long day we had quite a few extra meetings for hosting new missionaries, and also for helping with the tour. That night we taught our TRC and as we were wrapping things up i said "antes nosotros exitar" trying to say before we leave "podemos orar?" can we pray? Well because of my limited vocabulary i had kinda winged the whole "exitar" word because most of the time if it sounds okay it is, but in this case it wasnt. So as soon as i said this our investigator just busts up laughing and i was totally clueless. She then proceeds to tell us that "exitar" doesnt mean to exit but instead it means to get excited... sexually lolololol. So as i am apologizing profusely and trying to say the closing prayer to get out of there her and Elder Randall completely lose it and i just sat there with a beet red face. So monday was quite the day. Tuesday was pretty low key. Wednesday I got to be a host for incoming missionaries and i got to host Elder Colby which was awesome, i havent gotten a picture with him or me him and kelton but when i do ill send it. that night we did orientation for all the navatos. Thursday i saw my parents for two seconds as they came through the tour which was nice. And that night we worked the tour which was super awesome because we met some people from Spain and had a really good conversation with an exchange student from Spain. We asked her about her beliefs and she said shell be attending church with her host family and that shes starting to read the BOM, but she sounds like shes very Catholic. It was awesome practice and i was surprised at how much i could understand, and how well she understood me. Friday was lowkey, im definitely missing the football field, that definitely hit me friday night when I realized that a year ago i was prepping for a gameday. Its okay though heavenly father knows and will bless not only me but those around me, and others through me. Today was good, we had an awesome temple session and a really good breakfast now were just doing laundry and then off to play some volleyball. Time is going by so fast, which is good because i cant wait to get out of here and in the field! 2 WEEKS!!!

I love all of you and hope everyone had as good of a week as i did!
Godspeed

I also forgot a very important part, the R2-D2 that now resides above our door. Its a bop-it and its sick. Ft. Elder Perkes
