Well folks sorry for the weekly last week, I had a nice one typed up and gmail decided to delete it.  I've been sick lately so today I took the day to rest up and ran out of time to write the weekly. So my week, great appointments, baptismal interview for Nolvia ( she'll be baptized the 26th), transfer news. I'm training. So we're headed out of Badajoz rn to head to Madrid!  Il make sure to really update you all next week!  Remember to read your scriptures, say your prayers, be humble, be obedient, and NEVER GIVE UP! What's up folks!  So this week was great! The work is going fantastic and really we are super excited. Please look for ways to introduce your family and friends to the missionaries!  Other than that not going to say a whole lot, it's been a long day and we had some interviews with President Bussey today that were great! Tomorrow we have zone conference which should be fun!  I just want to let you all know that God exists, he loves you and has a plan for you! Remember that the commandments and standards of God are unchangeable, AND THEY ARE THERE TO HELP US! Remember to say your prayers, read your scriptures, love your neighbor, use the repentance process, be EXACTLY OBEDIENT TO EVERYTHING ( but remember you can't do it all at once), count your blessings, be humble, be grateful, be happy, and NEVER GIVE UP!  P.S. Good Morning U.S.A.!!  Well what can I say, last week was Christmas and we had a good call with the fam. Now were looking down the barrel of 2019.  It's been a couple great weeks here in Badajoz, there is a ton of potential and we have a couple of friends that are progressing well and will soon have baptismal dates. The branch is great, I've eaten lunch in our flat a total of 4 times since I've gotten here haha. And apart from that they are all incredible when it comes to the work, and we had a really inspiring class from President Vallecio on the changes in the church and how it's going to help the members and the missionary work!  If you can't tell I am excited on a whole other level to get the work going!  This past week we spent Christmas in Cáceres with the other Elders and a matrimony the Hubbs. It was great and we ate pretty similar to a normal Christmas which was fantastic! Then we came back and put some work in....

Tyler Batty December 25 2018 Merry Christmas Eve! We can Skype today! We traveled to Caceres today and we are spending the holiday with the other ELders here and the senior couple , the Hubbs. GLad to hear you guys are doing good. THe meeting went well we had a few friends  there and the spirit was really strong! Our preparation day goes from 6PM our time today to 6 PM our time tomorrow! We can Skype at anytime including after pday. Just let me know ASAP when you want to do it. Back to the Border, and BEYOND! Inbox x What's up folks! Hope it's been a great week. For us it has been.  Transfers were quite crazy, a couple hours on bus, a couple hours on train, and a couple more hours on bus and here we are. Badajoz.  We have been packed since day one, appointments, meeting people, and getting prepared for Christmas has kept us busy! Loving life here in Badajoz! We have  a branch here of about 40-50 members but to me it seems more like 400-500 haha. It really feels huge. For the first time in a year I didn't bless or pass the sacrament. The members here are great, I am super excited to work with them. The area has a lot of potential. We have a few friends that are also progressing well, and one that should be getting baptized soon!  Feeling really blessed to be in the Lords service at this special time of the year, it kind of hit me today that Christmas is in a week!
